Butter London Holiday Collection

Nov 2, 2010

As we begin our gradual descent toward the holiday season, it’s time to start thinking about party attire.  And for me, the most cost effective way to embrace the Yule Tide is with a seasonal manicure.  Luckily, Butter London has three epic shades guaranteed to suit any holiday reveler.

Knees Up ($14)

Knees Up is a “smashing metallic red” that is perfect for the 1950s party girl in all of us.  Apparently, knees up is British slang for a rowdy dance party.  Of course it is.  Cheeky Brits.

Perfect Prezzie ($14)

While it may look brown in the bottle, this rich burgundy shade is flecked with gold to give it a little holiday sparkle.  So if you’re not ready for the blinding red of Knees Up, you can wear this more grown up shade without sacrificing glamour.

Fairy Lights ($14)

Of course, my favorite shade is this mauve color called Fairy Lights.  Named after the tiny Christmas lights used on fake trees, this color is just the right amount of shimmer for work or play.  And it’s definitely less depressing than all the dark purple that I see running around this time of year.

So there you have it, three nail polish shades that are sure to put your digits in the holiday spirit.
