I'm a little surprised to see this event on your blog – can you please explain? Are you a supporter of HRC? btw – I love your blog and the variety you offer.

  2. Erin says:

It's a fashion event in support of a political group that's based in DC and has a major presence on the Hill. Seems perfectly appropriate for the audience of this blog, regardless of whether Belle's a supporter.

  3. e-liz says:

What needs to be explained? It's a great cause + a chance to shop with a discount. BOOM.

  4. JU says:

I agree! I really was just curious since Belle is a republican. I'm not criticizing or disagreeing, I really was just curious. It's nice to see her promoting this event.

  5. Belle says:

Not all GOPers are opposed to equal rights. #newsflash

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
