Happy Hour: Pomegranate-Ginger Cocktails

Sep 7, 2012

By Malene Birger Zenaide Chiffon Dress (Net-a-Porter, $565)

This dress stopped me in my tracks, audible gasp and all.  The lace bodice reminds me of Mila Kunis’ Oscar dress from last year.  And I love the integration of tan with black, lace and chiffon with knit.  Sublime.

The closest dress I could find is this $298 strapless black lace and sheer inset dress from BCBG.  I also liked this Tadashi cap sleeve lace dress for $178.  And if you just have to have this Malene Birger, there are a handful of sizes left in the My-Wardrobe selection for $361.

This dress calls for a cocktail in a tall glass…

How does a pomegranate-ginger champagne cocktail sound?

The recipe comes from The Garden of Earthly Delights and includes pomegranate juice, ginger beer, lime and champagne.  Sounds delightful.  I think I’ll pick up some ginger beer on the way home.

Happy Hour

Gorgeous dress! And thank you so much for including all the different price points in your posts these days. It is very appreciated!

How does this dress work. It's in my size but I dunno. The lace is completely sheer correct? Or is there a lining I am just not seeing?

  3. Belle says:

Heather: The lace has a flesh toned liner.
