Stylish Work Dresses from the Reiss Sale

It seems hard to believe, but retailers are already preparing for Fall fashions with end-of-season sales on spring and summer styles.  My favorite sale is happening at British retailer Reiss, which stocks a bevy of smart pieces that are both tailored and feminine.

There are so many great dresses on sale at Reiss right now.  I would own any one (or every one) of the four dresses above and about a dozen more from their selection.  The cuts and lengths are professional, but still feminine, and the colors are lovely.  I especially like the Ilda dress in ‘Pacific Blue’ (it also comes in black), and while I didn’t feature it in the photo, this impeccably tailored dress with cap sleeves is also fabulous.

For after hours, I love this textured and layered dress in a pale blue and this off white fit and flare dress.  For casual wear, I love this watercolor-printed dress with a chevron pattern and this comfy looking striped dress.

If dresses aren’t what you’re looking for, Reiss makes some of my favorite jackets.  And I’m a sucker for a stand collar, so this rust-red jacket and this structured stone number are right up my alley.

Looking for sale items that cost under-$100?  This top with sequin sleeves caught my eye, as did this slouchy striped tee.  If you’re in the market for a pencil skirt, this simple black one and this contrast knit one are both lovely.  And there are no shortage of cool accessories, like this wide belt with leather inlay, this lightweight navy scarf and this black leather cuff bracelet.

Because this is a sale, sizes are limited on some items, but there are enough great pieces that you can find something that catches your eye.  And if you use Ebates, you can earn 3% cash back on your Reiss purchase.  Happy shopping!

Regarding the length of the dresses: do you usually find that they run longer than they look on the model? I.e., if it is right above the knee on the model, will it be below the knee on shorter people?

That emerald dress is just gorgeous! And the color could move you from summer into fall pretty nicely.

Love the dresses! Are the sizes listed on the website “UK” sizes or “US” sizes?

The Find: A Versatile Sweater Jacket

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
