And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here. (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
I have a similar pair of Corso Como boots (last year’s Racine, found on Rue La La) and they are my. favorite. boots. ever.
They’re comfortable for walking all day, but they’re also real leather, and well-made for the price. Most corso como boots have a hidden stretch panel in the back that runs up the whole back of the boot shaft, but it’s hidden under panels of leather, so they can be a good option for ladies of all calf-shapes.
I can actually vouch for these Corso Como boots – just picked up a pair from DSW a few weeks ago. They’re made with quality leather and are very comfy – totally worth it!
Third vote for the Corso Como boots. I have them too, and they are amazingly comfortable. I’ve had other pairs of Corso Como shoes and they last forever!
I LOVE my Corso Como boots. I have two pairs including the ones above. They are comfy, stylish and durable. They must be coated in something because when they get wet the water evaporates almost immediately. There is no need to spend several hundred dollars on boots when you can get quality leather ones for $100 or less.
