And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
Cute jackets, but I need a higher wool percentage in my coats.
The Red Valentino reminds me of something Olivia Pope would wear!
Can you consider suggesting tall options along with petite and plus? We’re a size category too and often anything with long sleeves or a defined waist will fit as oddly on a tall person as on a petite person. I’d love to see options that would be cut for my proportions.
I’ll tell you what, if I see a tall piece I like or if the brand also does tall pieces I’ll mention it. And when I do pants or skirts, I’ll try to find one. No promises, but I’ll keep it in mind.
