BP Moveover Flat ($50)

When I need to give my basic separates a boost, I reach for my leopard-print shoes.  They add a little something extra to an outfit.  Color is important with leopard.  You don’t want too much leopard, and you want the hues to fall into a neutral palette.

These Ivanka Trump flats have a larger print that gives them a bolder look.  If you want a little lift, Steve Madden has a leopard wedge.  Or if you want a different color palette, this black and grey Oasis flat is a nice choice.  All of these flats are pointed toe; I think they’re a bit more versatile than round-toe flats.

Prefer leopard pumps? These Calvin Klein pumps have a softer taupe hue.  These Audrey Brooke ankle strap pumps are a modern take on leopard.  And if you prefer round-toe pumps, these Ivanka Trump Sophia heels are the way to go.

I have worn the heck out of my leopard Nine West kimery heels, but hadn’t thought about flats. These are super cute, I’m definitely buying!

J bought the BP flats but had to return after one wear! The bottom was separating at the toe. Luckily, Nordstrom took them back without question.

I bought the Moveover flats and was really disappointed in the quality. They were flimsy and thin-soled. I ended up returning them. 🙁

Coincidentally, I posted today about leopard flats too. 🙂

Am I the only one who cannot stand calf hair? Too difficult to keep in good shape! Target had some great cap toe flats for the price, too!

The Find: A Striped Tee

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.
