Louise et Cie Nadia Peep Toes ($69)

For this dreary Wednesday, I thought a work shoe with a little something extra was in order.  I like a structured bow to add a bit of interest to a shoe.  These Louise et Cie pumps are a lovely option for summer work wear, and they come in my favorite heel-height, 3″.

I also like these beige Isaac Mizrahi pumps with a black toe cap and sleek bow.  These Jensine pumps, with an origami bow on the side, are so fun.  And if you can get past the $329 price, these Club Monaco pumps are still one of the chic-est shoes I’ve ever seen.

Looking for flats?  I like these Andrew Stevens bow-detailed, navy flats.  And if you need a pair of commuting flats for rainy days (i.e. plastic flats), these rose gold Melissa flats are a whimsical choice.

The Louise et Cie Nadia Peep Toes are the most comfortable heels I have ever worn and I have been suiting up for nearly 20 years. Plus: so cute. Highly endorse!

Great shoe recs. I love classic pumps with just the smallest detail and these are just that.

I love Louise et cie. I’ve found them to be very on-trend, good quality, and at a reasonable price. I had the mini wedge flats too and want to buy them in every color. They are amazingly comfy and they look super polished-a nice flat for working long days or events.

But an open toe for work?

Depends on the office, but in the places I’ve worked, these would have been fine. There are certainly offices where they would not be acceptable.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
