1) Five Easy Mindfulness Exercises You Can Do at the Office. (It’s finals, I need all the clarity I can get.)

2) This Moda Luxe handbag in pale grey is perfection for work or travel.  How is it only $50?

3) ISIS enshrines a culture of rape in its theology.  (From last week, but some stories need to be told.)

4) I finally snapped up this Ann Taylor midi-dress in bright poppy.  It’s fantastic.  I’m also loving this dotted, crepe shirtdress.

5) Two women have made it to the final segment of the Army’s Ranger School.  If they complete it, they’ll be the first women to do so, but they’ve already impressed top commanders. #yougogirls

6) This Maggy London mesh-inset dress in raspberry is incredible.  (Incredible.)  Also in plus-size.

7) Man poses as a Target customer service employee on Facebook to hit back at those who hate that the toy section will no longer be labeled by gender.

8) Need a cool athletic flat (that’s not a sneaker) to wear to yoga?  These Cole Haan ‘Zerogrand’ flats are incredible.  These New Balance ballet flats are an affordable alternative.

9) Colleges are inflating ‘cost of attendance’ figures to increase NCAA stipends for student athletes.  Because college wasn’t expensive enough already.

10) I just switched to these Simple Micellar makeup removing wipes and I don’t know how I lived without them.  Gentle, but powerful.

11) Looking for a chic appetizer?  These endive, goat cheese, almond and fig boats look incredible.

Eye Candy. This Antonio Berardi cocktail dress has so much drama it needs a therapist.

Belle, thanks for sharing this extremely moving article on ISIS. It is sad to know that this is happening in the world and I’m glad that our country is doing what we can to help stop it. I regularly watch TV news and they never seem to put out “real news” like this. They only want to talk about which politician supports going over to the Middle East to stop ISIS or who is at fault for us being there in the first place. Articles like this bring some perspective to why we want to stop this militant group.

  2. Anna says:

5 – They made it! They’re going to graduate Ranger School!

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
