Belle’s November 2015 Favorites

Dec 2, 2015

This month’s favorites are a bit late, but they are so worth it.

1. L.K. Bennett Mikhaila Pump ($325) // 2. Gigi New York Saint Germain Clutch ($345) // 3. Hidden Treasure Band ($1,050) // 4. Lanvin Grosgrain Trim Notebook ($90) // 5. Lipstick Queen Vesuvius Liquid Lipstick ($24)

One. I absolutely adore the woven mesh on the front of the L.K. Bennett flat.  They also make the same style in a pretty high heel.  Want something similar for less?  Try this Joe’s mesh pump or this Isola flat.

Two. This large, stylish clutch from Gigi New York is sublime.  I adore the bottom handle and the sleek details.  It’s also a great size for carrying during the daytime.

For similar features, try this Abiko bag or this white Danielle Nicole clutch.  If you’re just looking for a large saddle-tan leather clutch, this Vince Camuto clutch is a good option.

Three. The unique design on this ring makes it such a statement piece.  It’s perfect for the woman who likes to pair minimalism with femininity.

Unsurprisingly, I couldn’t find something significantly similar in a cheaper price.  This Ivy & Liv ring has a delicate look.  This “diamond whisper” ring is also worth a look.

Four. A bit of affordable luxury can make a great holiday gift.  This Lanvin notebook is chic and useful.  Burberry offers a pricier leather notebook.  For something under-$50, these Post notebooks are leather and refillable.

Five. Looking for the coverage of a lipstick with the sheen of a gloss?  This Vesuvius liquid lipstick gives great coverage and easy application.  I like the Candy color.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
