I’m off until Monday.  Have a happy and safe New Year.

***

1) Habits to adopt now to be better at your job in 2016. (Fast Company)

2) These Noir Jewerlry Gabriella earrings from The Outnet are the perfect complement to any NYE outfit, cocktail or casual.

3) How to get financially naked with your partner and discuss your money like adults. (NYMag)

4) Anthropologie has an extra 25% off sale.  I love the illusion yoke and lace on this Stargazer top.  I also like this Charlotta sweater in ivory and oatmeal.

5) The best beauty products of 2015.  My favorite things were Dr. Jart’s Micro-clearing Sheet Mask and  Tony Moly Banana Sleeping Pack. (I Want to Be Her.)

6) Gwen Stefani has a new shoe line, gx.  These Observe sandals are the ultimate party shoe. So hot.

7) Science shows you how to prevent a hangover and rescue New Year’s Day from the clutches of a champagne and vodka swilling New Year’s Eve. (Digg Video)

8) This mixed-media necklace from White House Black Market was one of my favorite purchases this year.  I’m thinking about adding this long, rose-quartz pendant of theirs to that list as well.

9) The Top 10 Inspiring Career Interviews of the Year. (The Everygirl)

10) Need kitchen and home goods?  Gilt is having a stock-up sale.  This is where I picked up my stand mixer and knives last year.  Good stuff.

Eye Candy. This vibrant Narciso Rodriguez one-shoulder gown just screams ‘Amal Clooney.’

On the subject of stand mixers, Costco has a KitchenAid tilt-head for $200 right now in the warehouse (I think it’s a little more expensive online). Limited colors but what a great deal!!! (I’m a huge fan, no financial ties.)

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
