Viva Vena Maxi Dress ($88)

I’ve been smitten with this dress since the first time I saw it.  True, the length is not ideal, but you can make a dress shorter.  And the geometric print, the side slits and the banded collar and sleeves make this a jersey dress that’s both basic and unique.

If you are looking for a printed maxi dress, Target has an orange melange dress that fits the bill.  I also like this chevron-printed dress with a flutter sleeve.  We’ve already established that I’m a sucker for yellow and grey together.  And if you want something really bold, try this green ikat print or this bright red print.

Plus size? I like this dress with a mix of blues, and this red print as well.  And if you want something unique, this print reminds me of a sunburst quilt.  Petite? I like the beachy feel of this paisley print, and this relaxed dress with tie straps is really adorable.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
