Nine West Tixalated Heel ($89)

With spring and summer approaching, I was in the market for a new pair of “nude” heels.  I didn’t want a basic round-toe.  I wanted something different.  So when I spotted these Nine West pumps, I new they were the ones.  They also come in black.

I added a ball-of-foot insole to make them more comfortable, but the ankle strap really helps with stability.

Piperlime has some really lovely and unique shoes right now.  So if you’re looking to give your warm weather wardrobe a boost, don’t miss them.  I especially like these black and white Elodie pumps from French Connection ($120).  In the mood for flats, these Dolce Vita snakeskin and tan ankle straps are high on my shopping list.

Wah, 4″ heel. So beautiful, but I just look so goofy walking in heels higher than 3″. Teach me your ways.

Yeah, I wish the heel were just a bit lower. For me, the higher the heel the better as far as comfort goes, but there’s a point where you start looking like a stripper.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
