Belle’s Closet: Harry Josh Blow Dryer 50%-Off

Harry Josh Pro Blowdryer ($150)

Run, don’t walk to Dermstore for 50%-off the greatest.blowdryer.in.the.history.of.the.world!

The Harry Josh dryer is fast, so fast.  My dry time went from 20-minutes to less-than 10.  I didn’t bring it with me on my August vacation, and by day three, my aching wrist was missing my dryer.  The dryer is also incredibly light, so I’m always surprised by how heavy the hotel blow dryers are by comparison.

I also love that the dryer isn’t too hot.  So many hair dryers scorch hair with heat that is beyond hellfire.  This one has an adjustable heat setting that actually works, unlike my Conair that seemed to think hot and warm were the same thing.

Lastly, if you’re someone who needs a dryer with optional ion technology, this one has that setting.  I know some of you mentioned last time that you dislike the ion setting, so this dryer lets you turn it off.

Yes, $150 for a dryer is a lot of money, but I really think this one is worth it.  So save 50%-off its $300 price tag, and grab it today.

Belle, I’ve noticed that a lot of more powerful hairdryer suck my hair into the air intake. Does that happen with this dryer? I have thin hair, so I can’t risk getting it caught!

  2. K says:

Question for other readers who have used the Harry Josh dryer. I have pretty easy hair — shoulder length, very straight, on the thin side. No doubt that the HJ dryer has outstanding reviews, but most of the reviews I’ve seen are by women with curly, thick or otherwise time-consuming-to-blow-dry-hair. Anyone with “normal” hair think that this dryer is really worth the splurge?!

    • Belle says:

I have “normal” hair. Stick straight, somewhat fine, below shoulder. I like it because it’s so fast. I also like that because the concentrators are better quality than what you get on a Conair model, I can use less heat and only have to round brush once to get curl. It may not be worth the splurge for everyone, but to get root volume with little effort in a short time, I’m in.

  3. Em says:

Thanks for the advice Belle, I pulled the trigger and should be receiving it on Friday! I hope I like it as much as you do!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
